FLOPS blockchain employs a flexible Hybrid Consensus mechanism, combining POW (Proof of Work) and POS (Proof of Stake), to meet various functional requirements and optimize network performance.
1. Daily Transaction Validation - POW:
POW Role: For daily transaction validation, the high computing power of GPU nodes ensures fast transaction processing and network security. We have designed a reward weight slightly higher than that of POS to incentivize nodes to provide more computing resources and security guarantees.
POS Role: Simultaneously, token holders participate in daily transaction validation through the POS mechanism. They contribute to consensus decisions based on their token holdings, promoting decentralization and fairness within the network. Larger contributors receive increased rewards, which economically incentivizes token holders to actively engage in network management and security maintenance.
This hybrid consensus mechanism not only enhances the overall performance and decentralization of the public chain but also provides reliable support and incentives for the AI compute leasing market. 2. Compute Leasing - POW:

Additional Token Incentives: We offer additional token incentives to nodes based on the computing resources and service time they provide. This enhances their motivation and earnings from participating in the compute leasing market.
